Fat Tire Fiesta Starts Saturday

This weekend's Fat Tire Fiesta is almost ready to go. Note that there is a late fee for registration in effect after Friday, so register early by downloading a form from the web site or online at Active.com. Online registration closes Friday morning.

Volunteers should attend the last general volunteer meeting on Wednesday night at the north Trex Enterprises bulding, 300 California SE, #2. That's the building next to the Texaco station just south of Manzaneras. If you are a volunteer and you have a question about what you're volunteering for, you should go to the meeting, or contact Mark Bottjer or Matt Perini before Saturday.

Ironman Wisconsin

We have two new Ironman finishers in our midst, Christian Krueger and Laura Jean Wilcox, after last weekend's Ironman Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. A total of 5 SSR members made the trip to "The Mad City". The results are below, and a full story will follow later. The full results are at the race web site.
