Volunteer

Would you like to help APAS with our mission?  There are various ways to volunteer.

paw    Events/Fundraising - APAS sponsors and participates in various informational and fundraising events throughout the year, including the annual yard sale, Art & Antiques for the Animals, and Christmas in the Greenhouse.  We can always use help planning, preparing, and staffing these events.  Also, new ideas for exposing APAS to the public, educating the public about shelter animals, and fundraising for the organization are always welcome.

paw    Newsletter article writers needed - APAS produces a small quarterly newsletter to help educate and inform members and the public about pet issues. We are always looking for good writers to help write articles for the newsletter. If you stay in touch with current pet issues and would like to contribute, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Lisa Foley at 575-838-4958.

paw    Computer Skills - APAS hosts a webpage and often needs people with computer knowledge to help with projects. If you'd like to help with these tasks, please call Kitty at 575-838-2730.
